Hi There,
As I recently heard by a DIT, he couldn't transfer one or more clips from one of my REDMAGS - the operation always failed. I'm quite hesitant of using that REDMAG again for recording, but I don't want to throw it away if I'm not entirely sure it's damaged.
Is there a way of reliably testing if a REDMAG still works? I thought about filling up the media several times with dummy recordings and then check whether I can transfer them. But is this safe, and is there a better way of checking a MAG?
Thanks for your help,
Remo
