Noticed the playback without RR so much better now. Kudos to the RED team.

Is there anything else needed to install for my redrocket? Coming from build 221 and redline 194.

Are there docs posted anywhere on how to use RedLine for windows?

Thanks,
Keith

Tangent Wave Controls

Tangent Wave Controls

Hello,

I can see and feel a lot of the improvements. Great job, guys!

The only thing I continue to experience is the lack of sensitivity that the Tangent Wave wheels have. It is day and night how it responds within other softwares, but it is really frustrating since build 121...

Any update on when this will be addressed, and maybe when should we expect a transport buttons/controls assignment functionality? It really has so many butons that are kind of wasted, for which I have a lot of idea as to how to use them once we can assign specific tasks to them. :violin:

Cheers!

where can i find latest RR drivers and formware 1.3.2.0 & 1.1.8.4 that is what REDcine x is asking for?

Hi RED team,
thanks a lot for your hard work.
I still noticed one minor bug.
When you toggle to fullscreenmode with 2 different sized screens and then go back to one screen mode on the smaller one, you will have no chance to resize your playerscreen, because its to big.
This setup is common with notebooks and a second screen...
I know about Redcine-x customlayouts, but if you didn´t do it at startup, you are in trouble.
How about a layoutreset/layoutdefault button?

Many thanks...

Crashing on Export ...

Crashing on Export ...

I have sent my log files to Deanan for inspection. But I thought that I would see if anyone else is having these same problems:

RedCine-X is crashing every time I try and export out footage that has been cropped. I am taking 4.5k footage and cropping it down to 4k 16x9, and exporting out ProRes 4444 files. I can export out 4.5k just fine, but it is only when I add on the cropping of the frame that I run into issues ...

i updated drivers and firmware now when i open rocketcine i get

Your RedRocket driver is out of date. You have version: 0.0.0.0, you need version 1.1.4.0

Your RedRocket firmware is out of date. You have version: 0.0.0.0, you need version 1.1.6.8

Your RedRocket is in a 0x PCI-Ex Lane. The RedRocket requires an 8x lane to perform properly.

Your RedRocket has detected a PCI-Ex speed of 0. The RedRocket requires a minimum of 250 to perform properly.

Your RedRocket has detected a PCI-Ex Lane width of 0. The RedRocket requires a minimum of 64 to perform properly.

any thoughts anyone?

Robert,

Rocketcine is end of life and not supported the new Red Rocket firmware. Kinda sucks because Rocketcine is rendering faster for me than Redcine X with Rocket.

Dusty

I had no idea, i use Rocket cine much more than redcine x, it's much more stable for me.

Already done. :) I'm VERY impressed with how quick the response is- great job Team Red. :)

BTW- it seems that I was partially at fault for the problem, as I had not changed the crop numbers from the default 0,0- which is why the app would not export and crop my files. Why it caused RCX to crash is another matter ...

Thanks again.
