  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Release Camera Build 3.2.16

I'm not sure if its been corrected or not, or if its user error but I wanted to inquire about the camera switching over to the redvolts in the side handle if you detach your GMP battery to swap it out. I wasnt sure if it was corrected in a recent firmware upgrade or not but I figured Id ask. I'm currently on firmware 3.2.13 and I tried it to no avail. Thanks in advance.

My camera's motion sensor is now calibrated; not sure what it does, but it's calibrated.
 
Nice one, thank you!! I like the fact that I don't even have to install this and will still be able to use it (now how could this be possible... :) ) - free stuff all around, what a great company...

I got black and white screen during my first bootup after installing :(

Another thing I noticed: The readme file says that update will take approx 45 sec. Mine usually takes max. 10 sec. But firmware version shows the latest version. Don't know if this matters.

I've been getting the half black/half white start-up/lock-up since the last build - every so often.

My install is way less than 45sec also - and it lists the update firmware version.
 
There's a ton of stuff in this release I'll never use, but for the times I allow some one behind my cameras who understands how to use them for the betterment of the project, it's nice to know they are in there.
 
Looking forward to testing this out! I was getting erratic behaviour adjusting shutter speed from dsmc side handle in the last beta release. The display would show funky values going up and down...kinda like a loop. This only seemed to happen when I scrolled too fast. Otherwise worked great.

Gyro support... I read previously it was being activated but there was nothing to take advantage yet of the metadata - is there any advance on this?
