Registration marks in REd Zoom 18-50

please tell me why the red zoom doesn't have registration marks in the focusing ring?

What do you mean by registration marks?
Do you mean the lines that line up to the numbers?

yes i mean those lines

The focus shifts slightly (some more than others) as you move from 18mm to 50mm. If there were witness marks, what was spot on 10' at 18mm might end up being 9'9" or 10'3" at 50mm.
