I bet this has been answered before, but lately I am having a hard time using the forum search bar.

Does Epic/Scarlet-X media need to be reformatted each time you want to change project settings or frame rates like the RED One? I believe I have seen RED at NAB do this without formatting the media, but wanted to make sure.
 
No, you do not need to reformat after changing the project time base or the framerate.
