I switch back and forth between Redvolts / Redvolt XL's, and V mount batteries - depending on the job at hand, where I'll be, and if it's hand held, etc.

Love the Redvolts, and with the quad module on the cam I can get almost 3 hours + their hotswapable. BUT this would be the last thing that I would buy used; over time I've noticed that they are holding less of a charge, take longer to charge, and often won't charge.

You just can't tell if they are indeed in excellent condition. Save yourself some grief, well a lot of grief, and buy batts new.
