Thinking of investing in some of the XL packs. Any feedback out there on how well they hold up over time? My Redvolts seemed to drop to 85% capacity in less than a year, no matter how many times or effectively I drain them.

Average runtime on an XL?

All comments appreciated!
Thanks.

So far, they've been working fine. I have four and they all still seem to have a long life, pushing 90 minutes each. I'd say right now I'm still getting at least 2.5+ hours runtime with two of them in the quad module.

I've enjoyed using them. Really like the quad charger also.

Thanks Mark. The Quad Charger is great. And not having wires get in the way is perfect.

Love them, I wish I din't sale them so quick, but since no other module could be used with the Meizler I sold all modules.

Run times depended on what I had connected to the camera, and went from well over one and a half hour with just the 5" LCD, to about an hour or less when connected with the Pro I/O module w/ 9" lCD, EVF, and Wireless accessories plugged in.

Charge times unfortunately I never really observed, but it seemed pretty fast.

I love them but the only issue with them is that if you have the side ssd module you'll have to take out the XL on that side every time you want to switch a card in or out.

Not with the PRO i/O in between :)

Sorry Ketch, But hey're being well taken care of, I promise.

To answer the original question: The RedVolt XLs are holding up great! I have them, the regular redvolts, and the redbricks, and the XLs are by far my favorite to work with on most jobs.

Ha ha. i have a couple of Ketch's too. :)
