I'm thinking of selling my Redvolt XL Module w/ Redvolt XL (2-Pack) and AC Power Adaptor (DSMC) which I purchased last month. All items are practically new, I've used the XL Module and one Redvolt XL only one time (under 1.5 hours use), and used the AC Power Adaptor to fully recharge the used Redvolt XL through the XL Module; the other Redvolt XL has not been used and sits in the Redvolt XL case. My asking price is $1775 for everything, and I will include free shipping CONUS; paypal only.

PM me if interested.

Sale currently pending, I will update this thread as SOLD once payment goes through. Thanks all that were interested.

I am potentially reselling the listed items, therefore have marked this thread unsold. The previous buyer claims the REDVOLT XLs are not holding a full charge, stating he is receiving a maximum of 77-84% charge on each battery. I do not know why he is experiencing this issue, so if anyone has had experience with REDVOLT XLs and may know why, any information you can share would be much appreciated. I know I sold practically new items, as I have the receipt showing I purchased these items from RED at a total cost of $1975 back in the end of June, so there should have been no issues. With that being said, I only used one XL Module one time, therefore cannot fully vouch that anything was wrong with them prior to my selling them due to the amount of time I spent in using them... which explains my reasoning for accepting the return request.

If I do resell, I would like to make it known that I consider it to be an all sales final sale. However, since the sale isn't directly in person, I will allow a 24-hour period to test the items and make sure they are working as expected before I will initiate a no-return policy. I am an honest seller. I am not looking to make profit on anything I sell on this forum or anywhere else, and I like to believe I price my items rather fairly based on condition/use.

My only reason for initially selling the XL Module was based on a recent purchase of a dji Ronin 3-axis gimbal stabilizer; aside from wanting to use the money towards the purchase of the system, I also did not think the XL Module w/battery would work well with the Ronin system and would not be of use to me afterwards. I'm currently waiting to receive the items back from the previous buyer. Once received and and fully inspected, I will price the items to sale. If the REDVOLT XLs do in fact only hold on average up to a 77-84% charge as the recent buyer states, I will be marking the price down for the whole setup to $1500. This price reflects a large discount in the price of the XL Modules if they in fact do not hold a 100% charge; everything else according to the recent buyer claims to be fine. Again, a full inspection will take place and I will update this post accordingly. As of right now, anyone interested, please PM me, I will keep track of all those interested and inform everyone when the items are again available. Any questions, please feel free to ask.

Redvolts don't have accurate percentages. They do in fact perform longer than indicated.

Thanks Bob, I appreciate the input. Before shipping out to the buyer, I did not check for percentages as I would have had to install the XL Module, power on the camera, check the perctentage, and repeat, but I did make sure that all three LEDs of the Battery LED Array illuminated when pressing the button found on each Redvolt XL.

Received all items back from previous buyer. As seen in the attached photo, all LEDs of the LED Battery Array on the REDVOLT XLs illuminate. I haven't attempted charging further or used either REDVOLT XL yet, but I checked both and one REDVOLT XL displayed an 89% charge, the other displayed a 70% charge; both displayed over an hours worth of power remaining in the Power Menu.

I plan on running both XLs down and charging to full once more just to see if I can get a better read on the Charge % and provide photos, but honestly, according to what my RED Bombsquad rep has explained to me, and from what other Redusers have informed me, I don't believe anything to be wrong with these XLs. Regardless, due to my recent purchase of a dji Ronin, I won't have any use for this module, power adaptor, and REDVOLT XLs and still plan to sell everything to anyone interested. Since they have been sold, shipped and returned once, I'll cut my losses and price the whole set for $1500 shipped CONUS. PayPal only, all sales final 24 hours after receiving the items. Feel free to message me with any questions.

Additional NOTE regarding information provided to me by my RED Bombsquad rep: the most efficient way to charge a REDVOLT XL is through use of a REDVOLT CHARGER (QUAD).

I was able to test the REDVOLT XLs out and received well over an hours worth of power on each which is the least to expect out of the REDVOLT XLs considering they are only stated to provide 90 minutes of run time in 4K resolution at 24 FPS according to the DSMC POWER OPERATION GUIDE (I was actually switching between 5K WS at 24FPS and 2K WS at 300 FPS). I then performed a deep charge using the XL MODULE and AC POWER ADAPTOR after each battery was completely depleted and took photos of the power menu to show the percentage of charge and time remaining once charging was complete (around 4 hours of charging time using the XL MODULE). As one can see in the photos, one XL displayed 91% with an hour and 56 minutes remaining, and the other displayed 76% with an hour and 36 minutes remaining. In the additional photo, I captured the LED Battery Array with all three LEDs illuminated on each REDVOLT XL.

With that being said, I'm still asking $1500 for the entire set. I'm also willing to work out a deal involving the smaller REDVOLTS (I'm in need of at least two), an additional 64GB 1.8" SSD, or may consider any other RED products if anyone has anything up to offer. PM me with your offers and I hope to be able to work something out; I of course will ask for photos so please be able to provide them.
