  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I understand it works for texting, but language is fast becoming shorthand. WTF?
 
My biggest personal pet peeve is a monosyllabic grunt:

"Hmmm."
"Yeah."
"+1."
"Kewl."

... followed by six or more lines of .sig SPAM.

IMHO if your sig is always longer than your posts, you're a bandwidth vampire and your .sig privileges should be revoked. :nono:

Funny link, tt reminds me of all the corporate speak I encounter when I work with big consumer products companies. Not that I read these lines on Reduser often, but these drive me crazy too:

"At the end of the day"
"We need to get some more learning on that" (yes, learning is a noun, who knew?)
"That is very Church and State" (used as a negative, which I find ironic)
"Let's drill down on that"
"Best in Class"
and the gold standard...
"Let's think outside of the box"
 
They forgot my most hated two when they made that list...

"slam dunk" and "quantum leap" Oh yeah, may as well add "lightyears ahead" to the list too.
