5-8PM: RED Workflow Event

Guest speakers will discuss workflow solutions, both current and ones in the works. There will be some hands on demonstrations, as well as some general discussion about best practices covering small indy shops all the way up through the high end pipeline.

There will also be an opportunity for an open discussion, allowing everyone there to jump into the mix. The event will be moderated by Steve Sherrick and should be a good chance for all of us to learn a little something about what happens to RED footage once it leaves the camera.

8PM - 2AM: REDUSER Party

After the workflow event we will transform the suite into a big party. There will be food and drinks, as well as some cool stuff going on. We will have vendors there who will be showing you many ways to accessorize/modify your RED. There will be a raffle where you can win RED related products. And there may be few surprises thrown in at the last moment. Should be a fun time, and will be a good opportunity to get to know fellow REDUSERS.

RSVPs will end Friday March 21st at 11:59PM. Please send an email to: nabparty@reduser.net if you haven't already.

If you are on the guest list, you will receive an official invitation with room details, etc in the next couple of weeks.

See you all in Vegas!

You've done a great job organizing this great party, we'll bring you a couple bottles of tequila for some shots.

Okay, here's a tease for you. These are some of the confirmed guest presenters at the workflow event.

Ian Bloom - Crimson Workflow
Mark Pederson - Offhollywood
Mike Seymour - fxphd
David Newman - Cineform
Lucas Wilson - Assimilate
Jerry Hoffman - FCP Guru, educator, author
Tom Burns - Technicolor

There are others, just awaiting official confirmations.

And you guys are going to enjoy the What Can I Do To Make My RED Really Kick A$$ part of the party.

Oh yeah, and I think you're going to like the Raffle.

Stay tuned....

Jeff or Jarred, can we make this a sticky? Thanks!

That sounds fantastic Steve, I regretfully missed the REDUSER LA meet, so I'm glad that some of the same great guys are going to be in Vegas.

On the food note, Jeff, I'm cocking as I write, I'm trying out some Shrimps in a Garlic white wine butterflower Demi-Glace sauce, just wanted to let it cool off and see how it tastes cold, if passes the test, then this will be one of the finger foods, that will go in my Pelican, on the way to Vegas:whistling:

Ciao

Looking forward to meeting everyone. I'll bring the Crawfish if Finner will suck the heads.

Hey don't include me in that "kinky shit" you southern folk try and pass off as "normal".

I hope you like authentic Tirami Su' as that is what I intend to prepare for you as considering transport of the goods is the best and easiest for it, still will be made with Italian imported Mascarpone (the real stuff).

I'll try to make a big one for few others to deep in to it.

Ciao

Guys, I've updated the list of people presenting in the first post.

Ketch,
That sounds fabulous! You've reminded me of why I love the Italians and their country so much!! Both trips there are among my favorite experiences. I hope to retire their some day in a nice villa. That's if I ever retire...

Grazie mille!

I will bring the Sambuca!

The sweet flavor of Sambuca and Chicchi di caffe', I grew up with hat delicious fragrance, and even so I have never drink alcohol in my life, just that small of Sambuca will remind me of home.

For now you are more then welcome to stop by my california little Villa, and from next year you will be more then welcome to stay at my Vila in Italy, as I will be moving back for good.

I'll be opening the headquarters for KETCHFRAME near the Capital but likely still in the Tuscan province, not sure as yet, but either way you will have a place to chill and a variety of locations to shoot, beautiful behond your wildest imagination ... and off course a few extra RED's on location.

Ciao
