  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

REDUSER NAB Party Update

heck, even if I were able to attend the workflow event, I'm sure I'd still love to be able to reference what was demonstrated later on (if it were taped and posted online)...

plus it'd always be great for those not even able to attend NAB.

in the event that it is being taped... if a feed would/could be run to a monitor in another room or in the hallway, I'd gladly huddle around it to remotely observe. :)
 
I am brining my dvcam camera out, because I have to go to sanfran right after NAB for a gig. I will gladly volunteer to record the presentation and provide it to anyone who wants it, pending RED's staff approval.
 
Ted and the Red team will also be at the SuperMeet, April 16 and it is not a lot of money to attend. They will show footage and talk the usual Red Surprises. Only $15.00 and that gets you a bunch of stuff including food. However tickets are going fast. There is ample standing room, but its nice to sit after a long day.

When it comes to NAB you must pay attention EARLY on or you will miss out on a lot of what you should not miss out on.

Its been like that for years, all the big parties and events are rsvp'd well before NAB or you dont get in.
 
The Supermeet is great. Really enjoyed Walter last year. Looking forward to checking it out again this year.
 
what are the details on the supermeet, I am already attending the red party but interested in filling my schedule so I can actually make the best of it this year. I already learned the hard way of going un prepared my 1st year. Thanks, and look forward to meeting all of you folks!

Tickets for REDUSER Party will be going out tonight. Check your email. If there's nothing in it by Midnight tonight (EST), then send me an email. If for some reason you have left already for NAB or don't get a ticket for whatever reason, the people doing checkin will have a guest list and can verify you are on it at the door.

The room at the Westin is on the first floor and is called Mesquite (3,4, and 5 have been opened up into one big room for this).

The raffle is going to make you guys really happy, especially as you continue to accessorize your camera. We're not going to be giving away $2 scratch tickets. We're talking real gear, for your RED camera. The vendors that will be at the event have really stepped up and made this raffle something special.

The workflow event is set. 10 guest speakers and additional panel members who will interact with audience at the end to open up a general discussion about workflow. Also, I'm sure any new news that happens before the event will be incorporated.

There may be some surprise guests attending too. Who knows. All I can say is that it's going to be a good time.
