Reduser is running very slow for me today. I noticed something very strange today. I had Reduser open in Google Chrome with only 2 frames open and all of a sudden I start hearing an audio advertisement. I immediately checked both pages and I didn not see any advertisements playing. I closed both frames and audio gone. I came back to Reduser and noticed that at the end of every page load you see over 10 other pages being accessed in your status bar. I checked the Page Source and I see the following loading at the very bottom after the copyright text as two iframes to (domains split up by me so they don't go anywhere):

ifr ame src = http: / / damnxd.org / dns . html
ifr ame src = http: // www . jobless - jack . com

Is Reduser infected?

looking into this right now, actually. not hearing any audio ad btw

Same here with Chrome on an i5/W7 laptop in terms of performance... quite 'laggy' and slow to click into pages.

Other sites are fine.

No plug-ins or exts in my Chrome (apart from Nortons and Googledocs).

I actually rebooted earlier this afternoon as I though it was my system's fault, as I have a habit pf leaving a few tabs open and this sometimes causes issues.

Hey, guys. Fortunately, I noticed this about 15 minutes after it happened. Was a silly little thing... looked like some kind of iframe to try to drive traffic to social media sites, etc.

I ran a deep scan on my computer and only found 3 cookies that my av scan didn't like. Not sure if they were from here or not, but you might want to do the same. They didn't look like anything too serious. just tracking cookies for advertising crap.

At any rate, we identified the issue, and resolved it within 2 hours. The downtime you just experienced was after the fix had already been applied, and was mostly precautionary just to run some scans and maintenance on the server to be on the safe side. However, we did also perform some minor updates to the site as an additional precaution. All appears to be well right now. I will likely be performing some additional maintenance on the server tonight that may or may not require additional downtime. It will be minimal, if so, and I will let you all know ahead of time.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for your patience.
