  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Nice mirrors! LOL. My room didn't look anything like that. It was the suck. It was a complete shit-hole, not even worth the $38/night I was charged.

Yeah, I was not the least bit impressed with my friend's Tropicana room, very glad I stayed at Planet Hollywood Towers. I got an awesome 2 room suite for like $125 a night, even included a furnished mini kitchen and rockin view

I paid $325 for a roundtrip ticket (Seattle) and four nights at the Tropicana. I paid too much! It was a DUMP. They even turned off the hot water one night.

Frank, nice meeting you there.

...I had a balcony. And just past the balcony was one of those giant video billboards with large speakers, playing the same 2 minute audio loop over and over again. Not to mention the carpet was coming up, drywall was bubbled from leaky pipes and still damp! Mold in the bathroom... I'm glad I wasn't in that room very much.
 
I was in Vegas for 3 days back in 2004 and stayed at the Tropicana. The place was very worn down even back then. Had an okay view, though - but I would never in a million years stay there again.

and how do you get into it? I saw dudes at every door checking for Lingerie convention badges.

I think the only decent 'cheap' place on the strip is the Luxor. I stayed there last year and it was respectable and only slightly more than the Tropicana.
 
Agree, Shawn. Back in the day when Vegas meant "gambling" not "NAB" for me, that is where I stayed.
