REDundead help needed!

We accidently formated the red drive and didn't hear about Redundead until the following day. We had already started filming again thinking we lost all our files. So is there still a way to retrieve the information after we already recorded new files?

Once the files are recorded over, there is no way to retrieve them.

However, some of your files may not be completely recorded over - in which case they can be recovered. It would be worth doing a pass to see what it does recover.

Thanks for the response Conrad. Unfortunately we have already recorded on the formatted drive. We had thought we lost everything so we just continued shooting. Bummer, only if we would of known sooner. You live and you learn.

I would run redundead on the drive and see what you get. You never know... But like Conrad says, once the data on the drive is actually written over, you won't be able to recover it.
