Redundant Power Question

One of my cameras is in the process of upgrading to Weapon. I am busy ordering the proper bits to be able to use the camera on its return. I haven't seen and possibly this has been discussed already but the new camera not having a side handle and no place to hide a red volt somewhere else on the camera, what are plans to hot swap batteries?
What about boot up times? Has this been significantly reduced with the Weapon?
In the past with the Dragon and Epic a red volt in the handle kept the shoot moving along relatively uninterrupted.
People have certainly gotten use to that sort of expediency on set. That said I believe that I need to figure out a way to continue doing this same work flow. If anyone has ideas I'd like to hear them.

Plug in the ac power when swapping. Like alexa. There will be solutions but they aren't out yet. Offhollywood OMOD battery plate will have one built in, movcam will have something similar, and I'm sure even more manufactures will have solutions. It's the early days, lots of stuff will come out as the year goes on

Thanks, that's pretty much what I have found too. I was just wondering if I missed something. I have ordered the WC plate so I can continue to use my AB batteries however that will require using the cable to the power port which effectively nixes the AC power supply. WC is in the process of developing a through the camera connection mod to this plate but it isn't ready yet. Hopefully WC will follow Offhollywood's lead and develope their plate similarly.

Ah yes gotcha, I have a friend who has their wc plate from epic and is waiting for the update from them as well since his weapon just came in. I'm going to buy the ET plate then sell it when OMOD plate comes out I think
