  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Reducation Q

OK, I'm intrigued.....I don't really work with these cameras but I'm always looking to learn the innards of new gear. If it's not broken, I'll fix it till it is :thumbup:!

There's not much info on it, but why would you want to skimp out on paying? Is getting certification for free important? Honest Question. Its like reducation, you pay to get the knowledge, but now you'll actually get the certification.
 
I just said I'd -prefer- not to pay, but if I had to I think this would be worth it.

I'm self-reducated. But I think a tech cert would be something I'd be willing to pay a reasonable amount for.

Yeah. Why free? There wouldn't be anything special about a Dr. Degree if it was free. Then, everyone would have one and degrade the value. Just sayin...

I am too self reducated, but still and illinformed on data management and post workflow. I'd pay for a cert as well.
 
He wasn't saying that it should be provided at no cost, rather he hoped a guild or employer might pick up the tab. All the more power to you if you can get the boss to pay your Con-Ed.

I guess since people don't pay for information on this forum it is valueless as well.

Knowledge and acquired skills are inherently valuable, regardless of the monetary cost to gain them.
