REDucation in Atlanta

Hello Reduser community. Does anyone have an idea of what it would take to get a REDucation training program in Atlanta, Georgia? I find it somewhat odd that the fastest growing movie production market in the US, and currently the third largest market (behind LA and NY I believe) doesn't have scheduled tour date for the 2014 training program...So my questions are:

1) What would it take to get Atlanta on the radar for a REDucation training program? and;
2) Who would be interested in signing up for a REDucation class if it were held here in Atlanta?

I am open to suggestions and willing to travel, but I believe if the market is large enough with a proven interest, possibly by commenting below that "you're interested", I'm willing to bet Red might take notice and consider holding a training program here in the wonderful South!

Wow...+9k views and only one other person interested...crazy!...On another note, for those that went to Vincent's class this past wknd, it was great. I learned a lot...now just imagine if it was a Reducation class...:svengo:

Just in case Red is watching this thread...it would be good to have some people who are interested, say so. Given the growing Red community in Atlanta (and the overall growing industry here) it seems like a logical choice to hold a Reducation session in the South vs. a Miami...I know it's not Bollywood, but it has to be cheaper to have a Reducation in Atlanta than Mumbai.

Or am I wrong for thinking that Atlanta is a major growth mkt for the cinema industry, and therefore an attractive opportunity for Red...:emote_22_yikes:

I believe Atlanta would be a logical location for Reducation. For those of us in the south (I'm in Tennessee) it is a reasonable road trip.
The timing would have to be right. If it was I would love to attend.

dude that would be great i just don't want RED to have a store in ATL then we have to pay taxes and that would suck, do it at PC&E that would be the logical place.

I'm not going to do an interest list yet lol! But hopefully more people will leave comments and we can get the word out to Red that Atlanta should be on their 2015 locations for a Reducation tour. I remember going to the Directing Motion class with Vincent LaForet earlier this year and it was pretty good- also jam packed. People came from all over. I have to imagine that if Red held their class here, it would also be to a sold out crowd.

Just wanted to give this old threat some life. I took a look at the locations for Reducation in 2015...again, Atlanta didn't make the cut. I know the community is deep here- especially given all the work popping up lately. If you're interested, just say so (preferably here) and maybe we'll catch Red's attention. Then, they might decide to have a session here in the A-town!
