  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RedTrip is rising ...

zero in FCP land .... but ... if you make a nice cmx3600 parser you can support pretty much any NLE without re-coding for every XML spec.

I've thought about doing this, but I think my current method has lots of hidden advantages.

Still cmx3600 should not be too difficult to parse in the way I am currently...

You're right...

I'll be more precise:

I would love a similar function as the "Send to Color":
Choose it, and open the cuts (preferably in the right order) in redCine (Typo corrected)

Then, when you have done your firsst-light/onelight, you have a "render withCLI" on cluster x option (In RedCine)

Then you could send the files out for render on another node as you work.

When you're finished, you should have a similar "send to" function for final master.

Makes sense?

I'd pay. I think: quite some
For this.

+: What Mark Says

Keep the ideas coming. I'm listening.

Hi Ian !

Thx first for your great work.
The conversion from fcp to redcine seems working well, but fcp doesn't recognize the files back. Possible I am doing something wrong. I have attached the log files. It seems that the event number is not corresponding to the file, which should be there. It seems mixed up a little bit.

Cool Rainer, lets switch this to the old RedTrip thread.:shiftyph34r:

So what are you cooking up iBloom? For those of us who can't take the subway to your office. ;)

Gavin, I am working on something, it's true. Slow but steady.

But don't be fooled by my friend Offhollywood... this thread has one purpose:

Intelligence gathering.:shiftyph34r:

Oh and Haskell doesn't have to take the train, he lives a block or so away.
