  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Why should I use Output LUT/Gamma Space Redspace instead of REC709?

What is the difference ?
 
Indeed, clients love Redspace. But, shouldn't we use Rec709 for HD outputs?
I'm, too, having difficulty explaining why they need to use Rec709 during the post instead of Redspace that they were looking at on-set. So for people insist keeping Redspace gamma, I just use Rec709 to recover blown out areas.. for now.
