I have tried to create wrappers with REDrushes and REDwrappers it is not working. The only way I can create M wrappers (or any other kind of wrapper) is individually in RED ALERT.

I have tried many different methods but nine work... any tips or anything I might be missing

My material is from build 15 and placed in the same folder.

REDrushes is not for recreating wrappers, but transcoding footage into standalone QT movies, DPX or TIFF sequences.

ok??? why is there a wrapper function available then???

Wow, my bad... sorry. Completely missed that whole functionality from the program. !!!! :)

I tried creating wrappers from my footage and it works as expected. Can you describe your setup/method and how the R3Ds are organized? Are you having RedRushes put the new wrappers in a separate folder?

There's a bug with the menu for wrappers going into the source folder. It's fixed in the next version. Wrappers going to a destination folder works fine.

Deanan, any chance additional features might be added to RED Rushes next version? I was hoping we could add BITC for simple client exports without going to Final Cut or compressor. The other big one for me would be to have a preset look similar to L&T. A simple s-curve & add saturation setting would go a long way to having a VERY simple and very fast solution to get files into FCP.

Thanks...

Kevin

Yeah, some new features but there are some really strange things going on with 10.5.4 OSX libraries so I don't know which features will end up in the final version.

Not the next version but the version right after that.

ah, close but no cigar, oh well, i'm happy as long as there's a batch conform with audio pass thru that's all you really need to get started and by the time we want to finish hopefully apple will have wrapped color around the sdk, maybe not, we'll cross that bridge as we burn it, thanks!
