A couple questions before I purchase 2 units:

Is the new ProRes 4444 supported for rendering?

Is shot trimming available in RedCine-X?

Can an overlay feature be added to the crop/origin toolset for 3D dailies work (adjusting offset etc.) in RC-X?

what disk speed is necessary to achieve 2K playback?

Yes to prores 4x4.
Yes to trimming for export (no R3D direct trimming yet).
We are currently adding support for letterbox and cropping.
50MB/s or so is all you need for 2k playback of the 4k Redcode.

Most definitely coming.

Not yet. All the emphasis so far has been on speed and optimization for rocket.

somebody can help, i have a question,
redrocket and audio
how this is function?
When i have red files with audio, and i playback it in HD 1920 out in realtime,
what about audio? can i hear it?
second question in rendering to some other format, the render out is with audio?
please let me know,

The renders to QT currently have audio.
Audio playback via the computer will be live in the next week.
Audio playback via the hdsdi should be live not long after that.
