Hi everyone

There was a dead link on our website that lead a few folks to believe the Redrock microMatteBox was no longer available. Not true! Definitely available and alive and well.

Just a dead link, which has now been fixed.

Thanks

Brian

Hi Brian: Can you add a set of replacement donuts to your accessories section? I have one that ripped pretty quickly under regular use on a 50-150mm lens -- would this type of thing be covered under warranty?

Also, just a bit of feedback...I actually like the donut system, it is quite efficient. But the one with the largest hole (I forget the size and am at home, not work) doesn't have enough extra rim to tuck inside the mattebox and provide a solid light seal. Even pushing it as closely as possible means light leaks. Is there a chance I can get one of those that is cut slightly larger?

Thank you!

I just use the Lindcraft Donuts for $10 at Film Tools, I haven't bothered to use the Donuts at all. I just put a few pieces of Velcro around the donuts and Mattebox to hold it tight.

Toni - our lead time is still up to 40 days as published in our catalog:

http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.472981/sc.9/.f

"seems dead to me" seems a bit harsh.

For new orders we estimate about 30 days lead time.

Meryem - I will pass on your feedback to our engineers - you can always send feedback directly to feedback at redrockmicro dot com

Drop a line to support at redrockmicro regarding your donut. I haven't heard of any donuts ripping so I don't know how they would handle it re: warranty

Thanks

Brian

Hi,

Not a customer but I used the RedRock mattebox last week and was most impressed.
