  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Redrock microFollowFocus 19mm now available

Hi Hang - thanks - sent you a reply PM

Brian

Hi Brian,

Sent you a PM as well, need to start a shoot in a couple of weeks time. Just ordered the follow focus.

Got mine. Nice build quality. However I am having a bit of a problem using it with my Cooke 20-100. It is a bit too tall for the lens. The focusing ring hits the 19mm adapter. If I put it slightly off center I can get it to work but it is very tight and it concerns me a bit. Works well in other aspects.

Any way to lower the height Brian?

Hi Hoffman

If it's possible, PM me with a pic or drop a line with it to support@redrockmicro.com - We would need to see it to give you an informed answer.

Thanks

B

Sure thing - Thanks - I'll do that Monday.

Hoffman,

Any possibility of uploading the picture of the RRFF in concert with your 20-100? I have the same lens, so very interested by what you and Brian are able to work out. At the very least, keep us updated of your progress.

Cheers,
Clint

Does anyone have any reports on this as a follow focus for the Red? Just how good is it? Are the occasional but persistant rumours of noticable play true? How does it compare to the Cinevate FF?

Would love to know as I really need a FF within a few weeks...

Thanks!

Don't have a Red yet, I'm using an HVX200 with 15mm rods. This follow focus is TOP NOTCH! Very high quality.
