  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Has anyone used RedRock Halo focusing system for a single operator yet? Just wondering if it's worth the money? Kind of reminds me of Canon's facial focusing tracking on their DSLRs. Thoughts?
 
I don't think it's out as of yet. What do you all think for a single operator?
 
They have been showing this for years now, move along until it's actually shipping
 
I pre-ordered it in May of 2016. They tell me I am near the top of the list, if/when it actually ships, and I get it for the pre-order price. I guess the price has gone up since then.

I want to use it for doc interviews on VV. At f/2.8, only one eye is in focus. I would like to lock on that and as the interviewee moves back and fourth, it actually keeps them in focus. This is my dream!
