I'm having way too much fun shooting stills with my Komodo! Therefore, I constantly have a
when round tripping R3D stills to final. I guess a part of my grief is my unreasonable commitment to not losing any quality from step to step in all the conversion processes. I'm sure my typical stills workflow is overly complicated, but that's why I'm posting.
Lightroom will handle linear float-point, wide gamut data. And quite nicely! And honestly, it's really great using their tone-mapping tools to develop that linear data from a RedRAW, it's just a pain getting that data from Komodo to Lightroom Library.
Does anyone else have a preferred workflow for importing Lightroom stills from RedRAW? I'm curious! And, does anyone want to tell me simpler way to get all the dynamic range and color gamut of RedRAW into Lightroom for editing?
I'm all ears!
