Red #396 is now being offered for sale in AUSTIN, TEXAS. This camera has been used primarily for personal projects, but has been rented/borrowed by third parties less than a dozen times since it was purchased. It is in great condition, has the original M sensor and is NOT executed.

The package includes:

- Base camera unit (Red One #396, M sensor, not executed)
- 5.6" RED LCD display and cable
- 1 5inch RED ARM
- 1 RED BRICK battery pack and RED CHARGER (plus power cable)
- 1 RED AC Power Adapter
- 1 RED CRADLE
- 2 RED RAID DRIVES (320gig, with drive cable and power adapter)
- 1 CF (compact flash) card, 8 gigs
- RED Production pack (18" rails, universal mount, right handle, bottom plate, shoulder dovetail, top mount, top handle)
- 1 Banana Case (soft shell over-the-shoulder carrying case fo
r the full package)
- 1 PL Mount (standard) and 1 Nikon Adapter Mount

Asking price is $12,000 for package or $10,000. US. for base camera.

What is the benefit of being non executed since there is no way that we can get any upgrade for this from RED ! Am i Right ? Can we get any upgrade or Scarlet discount on this serial ?

Stages are all but over...sounds like if it hasnt been traded in it wont and cant be

NOT executed.

Basically all this means is that you still have a great camera and lost out on about $13,000 worth of savings by no upgrading to the epic. Not everyone has that kind of cash. $10 is a great price for a R1, awesome camera, but the executed phase is of little finical value now.

There was only a 3 week window for stage 3, nov 2011.

in answer to the questions above: evidently executed|unexecuted status no longer matters. I wasn't aware of that when I posted originally (though it wouldn't have mattered from an upgrade standpoint, I don't really want to spend that kind of money on a camera that I intend to sell.)
