  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

REDMOTE Video

That was a cool video. I have no problem with range on my REDMOTE, which is totally awesome! My problem is getting it to connect while switching on and off camera, and battery length of the REDMOTE. If it would stay connected while charging on the back of the camera, that would be ideal, big time. Then we could use it on and off camera with no problems.
 
These videos are AWESOME! Not only fun, they convey a Hell of a lot of information in a short time. Might be just me but I go blank and fuzzy reading through PDFs looking for gems. These videos smack you right in the good stuff and I know twice as much by the end.

Thanks for the great video!!

I've been 100% satisfied with the REDMOTE so far.

If a future version will allow me to delete the last clip recorded, I'll be 200% satisfied!!!
 
Love my Redmote. Used it on a shoot a few weeks ago to trigger the camera and adjust my settings on the fly from about 75 feet away while my Scarlet was right by some archery targets with about a dozen shooters launching volleys of arrows in that direction. Got my initial shots, switched frame sizes and framerates, and rolled without ever getting into harm's way. I must say, it's quite a fun tool!

We'll get you sorted. The REDmote is so damn powerful, I really look forward to you experiencing it properly. Sounds like yours is at RED now but please feel free to contact me if you are having continued problems and we'll get to the bottom of it...
 
Shit.. I can now make Power Point presentations on Redmote? You guys seriously rock. We just need to be able to make phone calls on it.

Now seriously, this thread tells me that you guys finally had some time to spend on improving Redmote. I will see if all my Redmotes work as well as the one in the video, and let my bomb squad know how they do.

I like this maturing phase on Epic. Please keep making it rock-solid.
