  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Redmote Iris Control

Is this supported?

I can change shutter, ASA, but not aperture.

I'll be shooting aerials next week with a wing mount, hoping I can adjust exposure from the cockpit.

Latest firmware on Epic and Redmote.

By default the +/- rocker on the REDmote is mapped to open and close iris.

Works great!! Thanks.

Reduser rocks!

For feedback, I just combed the user guide to see if I could have found this information; it's buried on p. 174, and pretty hard to read. I suggest lining up the Press and Release commands on the same line. (like they are for most of the side handle keys on p. 173) Or better yet, lose the release commands entirely, since none of them work. I think programming separate commands for button releases could get pretty weird.

It should work on any supported lenses for the canon and nikon mounts.

Huh?
Trent, you definitely will have the answers...
Is there a list of supported Nikon Glass? It is not yet in the latest Scarlet manual.
Still waiting for the new TI Nikon mount, hope it will arrive in August
