On the top line of the Redmote I've got a indicator, "rig" which is lit in red. I've looked through the Epic manual and can't find an explanation. Also, on the touch screen there's an indicator "sync" also lit in red. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the RIG indicator on the camera also red? Please double check the serial protocol selection in the COMMUNUCATION dialog to make sure you haven't selected a 3D rig from the options.

I don't know what sync options you have set or how you have things hooked up to the camera. Double check your sync in setting and make sure it matches your setup.

In general a red indicator means you've enabled an option but the expected signal was not found.

Trent,
That fixed me up....I just went through all the settings with a formatted card and everything makes sense. Thanks!
Steve
