REDMAG Shows color bars when inserted into camera

Hey all,

The title pretty much sums it up. I am on a shoot currently and one of our mags won't mount to the camera and when inserted it shows color bars. It is reading on the computer so should I just try to format using the disk utility and see if that clears things up or is the card doomed?
Any help is greatly appreciated. If you would like more information I will do my best to give it to you.

We figured out the issue. Turns out it was only a bad cable. Few!

I had similar in the past, LCD cable needed the connectors at each end tightened
