I read so many good things about REDLINE but I could not find an explanation of how to make it work, where should I run it from and what are the commands used with it.

Please If I understood right it would save me some Redcine frustrating times, and that would be of grate value to me.

Thanks.
Ido.

if you have installed the redline application (comes with redalert in bundle), open your "Terminal" application and type in when its prompting "redline" and push the enter button.... then you will see the options for the syntax...

OK, but why would I use it, when there is redcine or redalert. I do not understand why do I need redalert first time, then redline does not make sense. please explain if not too much of your time. :*)

I haven't used it as I don't have a Red cam yet... but it's been my understanding that Redline is just a command line encoding utility. Encode and batch encode without the need for RC's interface and it's memory usage.

= more efficient memory usage.
