Redcode Raw in Shake

is Redcode RAW supported in shake? how long does it take to render out 5 minute of r3d file from shake and how does it compare with REDCine or REDAlert?


or.. is it possible to render prores from redcine, work on shake, relink the original r3d and render 2k output?

All I know is Shake doesn't like to output ProRes because all I get is a snowy frame.

Shake likes DPX frames.

"Encapsulated" file wrappers such as QT or AVI? not so much...

QT 10 bit in Shake done be busted, too. Be careful.

Images in, Images out, and Shake is happy. Video and shake gets icky (as BOXXLabs said).

Hmmm.. Not completely. Shake reads in Prores, but the trick with outputing Prores from Shake is to add a "Bytes" node set to 8 bit - put it just before your output node and viola! no snow
