I've run into a problem. I've been working with RED footage for over 10 years. I have FCPX 10.7.1 and shot all of this film on a RED Epic-X. I've downloaded the most recent Red Workflow installer for FCPX released on 1/25/24. I've done all the importing steps, and the projects I've already started have shown up like the picture linked. Just all green clips. It loads on CineX and Red Player.

I've found a certain fix. I've gone into the REDcode in the settings of my Macbook pro (2019), and changed the image pipeline to IPP2 instead of Auto. This has brought the image back, but the only color spaces is Rec 709, 2020, and REDWideGamut. This isn't my preferred setup, since my color is based on REDcolor4 and REDLogFilm. For this project, I can manage but I am still looking to find a way to get back to that Legacy color space. Please let me know if anyone has a fix. Thank you so much!Monosnap Final Cut Pro 2024-02-21 17-54-50.jpg

I just tried on my system and I'm seeing the same issue you are with the Legacy image pipeline.
My screen is black instead of green but essentially the same issue.
First time I'm seeing this as I've been exclusively IPP2 for a while.

It looks like there was a fix involving Legacy decodes in V21 so hopefully that's a sign that it is still supported.

Here is a good start to let RED know there is an issue.

Thanks Brian! I reached out last night and communication has paused since I sent them a test file of mine. My guess is they're also having trouble.

There's a new update that might fix this issue.
