Hello,

There is a problem with REDCINE pdf's:

· I open in Mac OS X but when trying to get past the first page any program crashes

· I open them in Windows but when trying to get past the first page appears the following error message:

Cannot extract the embedded font 'DWABWW+HelveticaNeueLTsd-Bd'.
Some characters may not display or print correctly.

There seems to be some problem with the typography or the program that created the pdf :emote_head_explode:

Regards

We are not seeing this issue here.

What programs are you trying to view the PDFs with?
Which version of RCX are you using?

Thanks for answering

I use the same programs for view the others Red pdf's (wich I have not problems):

· In Mac OS X Snow Leopard: Preview, Safari, Firefox, Finder, etc
· In Windows: Adobe Reader

There seems to be a problem with one pdf typography that causes program crashes in Mac OS X
The pdf is REDCINE-X_Build_447.pdf (but I have the same problem with the other RedCineX pdf's)

Regards

No problem on my Mac here. You may have a corrupt font in your system.

Font book can validate your fonts to help determine where your problem is. Select all your fonts and validate, bet you find the issue.

Thanks to both

I validate all the fonts with Font Book and only find mild problems with one line (Duplicate font type)

Perhaps the pdf have also a font type problem

Yes, I have Helvetica Neue installed

Somebody say to me that the problem is that the fonts are not embedded in the pdf: if you open the pdf, embed the fonts and save the pdf then it works fine in Snow Leopard

Can Red Digital Cinema solve this and change the pdf attached with RedCineX?
