I'm prepping a feature today and I just realized that RedCineX is refusing to save RMD files. I am currently using build 326, but have tried 4 previous builds with no luck. The "Automatically Save RMD Files" preference is definitely checked in the preferences on all builds and I have tried reading the footage from different drives but still am having no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

Check the user rights on that disk.

How would I go abouts doing that? The drives are G-Tech Q 8TB RAID and a 1TB G-Drive.

I just used version 326 to process a shoot and it would save RMD files for half the clips.
All the shots were on the same drive so not a permission issue. Never had this problem with older versions of RedCine X. Used new version because of image flip (lots of low mode steadicam shots done upside down).

I have the same problem with RCX build 326, only half the time RMDS are saved. I am wondering if it has anything to do with the way I am working with media.

Currently I copy the contents of the just-transferred red drive to the timeline, apply a look, and then export the clips with a preset. After that I erase the contents of the timeline bin and start over with a new drive.

Could the order of these steps be causing issues with how the rmds are generated?

I had the same issue, i unchecked the box. quit RedCine-X and then re checked the box on the next open. seemed to work.
