Need more info before we can help or look into it.
mac or pc?
camera or double system audio?
which tracks?
how are you importing into avid?

Are you in a film project on the Avid? Due to the 96fps rate we associate with film projects for 1/4 frame slip (perf slip) audio media made outside Avid may not link. That is fixed in the next release of Media Composer. This does not affect audio being imported directly and synced within the project.

Are you importing the AAF files and they do not play audio with the video? If you go to the Media Tool and drag the clips from there, is there not audio?

More details as Deanan is asking will help.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'm on a mac, and this particular project has in-camera audio. I'm following the workflow in that video exactly so I'm copying the MXF files generated in RCX (tried both current builds) into the numbered Avid Media Files folder and then importing the ALE and relinking the media. Video shows up fine but no audio.

Film project was unchecked when I set up the project so unless there is some other way the project may have become a film project the answer to that particular question is no.

Thanks again!

Which tracks do you have selected in the audio pane of the export presets?
