  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

REDCINE-X Professional Update... Build 8 Beta.

I'm having a strange issue where sometimes I lose all mouse control on Windows Vista 64bit. It seems to happen after I move a slider perhaps "too quickly". Through a combination CTRL+ALT+DEL or Alt+Tab I can regain control. I'm still experimenting, but it does happen.
I'm getting something very similar which is making this release unusable. If I adjust the ISO or another slider, RedCine insists on processing the entire clip, instead of just showing me the result on the frozen frame. So even on a fast W7 X64 laptop it's 'make an adjustment, wait five minutes'.

As an update, even when setting the in/out points so that only five frames exist in the clip for processing, playing once can often cause the interface to become unresponsive, which is only cured by a Ctrl-Alt-Del. Which at least stops the machine freezing, but then the sliders become un-responsive and the project has to be saved and closed and RedCineX restarted.

Do you have the feeling that this behavior has changed in the last build(s)?
