  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

REDCINE-X Professional Build 4 Beta...

Yup. 1st version of RCX pro that has survived a day of work.
This software is really going places now!

The playout to monitor2 feature is wonderfull and makes the GUI more liveable

Today I have worked on a system without Rocket, and still the playback at 1/4 res is pretty damned smooth (R1 MX material)

The conform from FCP also worked painless...

Is it just me, or is Redcine one step from being a practical cinema editing program? It seems it just needs more functional timeline, and the ability to easier do cuts and some basic transitions. Do this, and I think there would probably be a LOT of people who would do a LOT of their work in Redcine, and export/import clips for compositing to a dedicated program for when that is needed.
 
need bugfix:

crashes everytime when lunch view in 2nd monitor .
