REDCINE-X Pro Make 3D Clip Frame Offset

Does anyone know how the "Make 3D Clip" function determines the frame offset value? Timecode, I assume? I'm finding it not to be 100% accurate with my Scarlet clips. I'm using a modified (3D) Deneke SB-T for genlock & timecode. The good news is that actual sync is PERFECT, but, there is often a one or two frame offset. About 30% of my clips seem to have an automatically assigned offset value in the Make 3D Clip dialog box - but - 50% of those are wrong.

Thanks for any ideas. Really do not want to have to go back to using a manual sync marker.

It is indeed calculated from timecode. Can you email an example to redcinex @ red? If you can, short trimmed clips that exhibit the issue would be very beneficial.

OK - in case anyone else is experiencing this....

RCX is doing the right thing, aligning the timecode. Timecode on the cameras is not always sunk. Perhaps this is a similar issue to the folks having problems syncing external audio.

The good news is - I've tested with a CRT sync analyzer and the temporal sync is PERFECT, once the frames are aligned properly.
