  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RedCine-X PRO freezes with the NVIDIA Quadro K5000 on Windows

I swapped in the new K5000 on my Windows 7 workstation. RCX PRO's viewer comes up filled with white on program startup. The entire application will freeze if you do anything to pull a clip into the viewer. I was working with 4k clips. Swapping the old Quadro 4000 back into the system brought everything back to normal. Red Player and all other software are ok with the K5000, but RCX PRO is unusable with the card.

I tried it again with the recent update of Red Cine-X and the Nvidia driver: it looks like the K5000 is all set now, no problems.
