  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

REDCINE X BUILD 32 Release and ROCKET-X V2.1.19 Superchargerd firmware / drivers.

I'm getting a memory access BSOD from the 2.1.19 RRX driver on Windows 7, whereas 2.1.12 worked without any issues. Opened a support ticket.

I think the problem is solved. With the motherboard BIOS on the Z9-PE D8 updated to 5601, the RRX appears to be stable so far.

  • Added: Support for AJA Io 4K and Kona 4 (Note: removes support for Kona 3)
  • this is bad news for KONA 3 users :( is there anything AJA can do?

finally jumped onboard with the new BUILD 32 & v2.1.19 for the RR-X.

It's allot faster whoaa, just got a Dragon transcode job with long takes (interviews) so I figured this would be the right time to do some tests.

I have a solid 6TB of footage to burn thru. My first day with my old build I would get 4hrs of Transcode time for 400GB of Footage; with this new BUILD I'm getting 600GB in 4hr time.

I was running BUILD 30 & V2.1.12 which at the time was the most stable for commercial work, BUILD 31 gave me allot of issues when cropping 6K FF to 5K since allot of DP's are utilizing the Open Gate process of capture.

So far no crashes and the footage is looking good.

Still can't get my waveform to show I've tried wiping and re-installing Cine-X,so weird, my other computer shows them. I wonder if I have a pre-set in the wrong mode?

Appreciate the update Thx Red Team
