Just installed the new RCX version. So, should I go back to the previous one? What is the use of having the 416ER if the Rocket cannot be used? :emote_hanged:

In both 416 with Epic files and 356 with R1 files, parametric adjustments seldom work correctly. For example sliding ISO up often darkens the image and changing white balance often adjusts ISO instead. I must click the Viewer window to get the proper update.

Additionally, my system chokes even on Jarred's little 2MB Epic stills. After moving a slider I must wait half a second or so for the update, and often only a third or half of the Viewer window is updated until, again, I click it to get a proper update. I have to use 1/16th or 1/8th resolution to get this down to near-real-time.

i5 2500K / 16GB RAM / GTX 570 system that can run D700 (and larger) files in real time @ 100% in ACR, even with local adjustment brushes.

I have the same problem with the GTX 470, i think it is the driver.
I swapped the card, to a cheap ATI HD 2400 pro and all ok.

I love REDCINE-X. We are color correcting a series only with it and it works nice and fast (even on my macbookpro). The only thing I miss is an option to reconnect files in the timeline or to select more than 1 drive for the original .R3D files when importing an XML.

Hi Dave,

What exactly are you trying to do? We've posted a newer REDCINE-X with updated Rocket driver & firmware on our support page as well as here on reduser:

We're working on an Epic update for the Apple workflow tools so that the Color plugin will also work with this new 1.4.7 Rocket installer. If you're not working with Epic footage you can also use REDCINE-X 356 with the 1.3.5 Rocket installer package (both available from the release history pages on our support site).

Please let me know if these options do not work for you and what exactly doesn't work.

356 could do export to FCP, but I do not believe it supported round trip. Best thing for that would be the 454 I linked to in my previous post.
