This build has lots of new stuff including color science specific to EPIC. It has remedial HDRx™ support but DOES NOT have RED Rocket support. It is a BETA build and hasn't fully been tested.

Thanks for the update. Looks like a nice list of fixes/additions.

Only in mac64?

It's beta and just a taste. This is probably what's available at the moment.

Understood. Always glad to get these updates, I was just curious, not being hypercritical.

Excellent! Looks like a lot of good stuff in this release, but this is going to make flicking through old R3Ds without opening RC-X a lot easier...

Seems like a huge list off new features and improvements;

but,

could you please come up with some kind of way to autosynch all external audio, to r3d files automatically, wrapping it in thesame folder.
This way we would have the choice to edit natively inside of fcp and ppro when wanted or needed ,without having to have issues with manual synching each clip. The option to not having to render to r3d's again would even be better,
but I could live with it if it has to write them back to r3d's, but this time with multitrack and on camera audio available in synch already

Something similar seems to exist from clipmeister rd, but it would be nice if it excisted inside off RCX.

Keep up the good work Jim and team!

I'm having some questions for the new - and appreciated - 3D features:

- Auto matching of 3d clips:
I can't see this feature anywhere. The "Color Match - Pick Colors" field in the Stereo 3D options are still deactivated.

- Convergence (HIT/VIT):
Finally activated - but I can't see any effect on the material in the viewer window. I tried toggeling between 2D eyes and several 3D modes but can't see any changes in horizontal or vertical offset.

Any ideas on that?

I am not able to use quicklook to view the r3d file. Is there a setting that I need to toggle somewhere?

I take it back. For whatever reason it all of a sudden started working. I have no idea why, but it is now working. Now if only I could scrub through the file...But I have no idea what it would take to get that to work. I'm just happy I can hit the space bar and see a frame.

Win64 and win32-versions are up too, just edit the url. I'm sure there is a reason why Jim didn't add the links, so be gently if you have trouble with this build. ;)
