I just bought a brand new Mac Studio M2 Ultra, and was hoping to get the best use out of it when outputting from RedCine (Latest build: 62.0.29). Unfortunately, when I set-up for the GPU via: Preferences>>System>>GPU Mode selection>> (Metal), all of my color edits as well as any imported 3d LUT's turn the footage to red and cannot be used. The only way I can get the edits and LUT's to be used is if I set the GPU mode to >> 'Disable GPU'. This of course is useless to me when I need to output 200 clips! The whole point of buying the Mac Studio M2 Ultra was to make use of the GPU processing power, but it simply cannot be used! Does anyone out there have a similar problem? Or a work-around?
Final note: At the moment, I am resorting to use a very old Mac (with OS 10.2 plus Build: 50 of redcine) in order to output using a GPU. This is only slightly faster. I feel that these new Mac's are complete BS. They have failed the community. Any thoughts?
