  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Redcine ran out all my reels/clips into one clip????

Fire off an e-mail with all relevant information to RED immediately. You'll get help faster that way, I believe.

Do you mean REDcine, or REDcine-X?

If it was REDcine-X you probably selected "Export: Timeline (all clips)" instead of doing CMD-A (select all) then "Export: Timeline (selected clips)".

I agree it's not totally intuitive, but I would suggest you should probably have done a short test before exporting 300GB of clips in one go!

Unfortunately the one big clip is pretty much useless to you, as it will have one continuous time-code, starting from the time-code of the first clip. If you edit using that, you need to make sure you have a way of back-tracing from the new time-code to the R3D files' original time-code. It can be done, but it's not straightforward.
