In RedCine I can see takes and play them when they are not connected to the mac but cannot put them out to use for editing. I had a power loss to the drives during copy with Data Manager but after reset two takes were lost, I can view both in the load browser in a disc that is no longer attached.
Is it possible for me to output these and what exactly am I viewing in the player window?

Using Redcine 4.1 for Mac OS X.
Mac Book Pro 2.5G dc

The actual R3D files are gone as far as I can see. But they can be seen in the footage browser window as a disc that is no longer connected, weird..
It's these ghost files I can play but need to get out to editor.
I have tried outputting them, error log says "failed to process frames".

My thought is they may be cache in RedCine that are left from the power failure, they are the only files left in the browser after un-mounting all drives.
