I am having a strange problem. I’m working on a project with both 2K and 4K footage. All of the 2K footage exports fine but when I try and export the 4K footage the color is dramatically different ( see samples below) When I press go, the screen turns blue and this is the output I get. I have tried every coded available (I usually use Cineform) but I get the same results. The attachments are snapshots from Redcine.

My computer Specs Are:
Boxx 7400 Series
Dual Opteron Model 270 (Dual Core)
3GB DDR400 ECC (4 DIMMS)
NVIDIA Quadro FX 1400 128MB DDR
120GB 7,200rpm Serial ATA 8MB Cache Drive
16x Dual Layer DVD±RW Writer (with Nero software)
Windows XP 64 Professional Edition SP2

Based on what you're saying (2K fine/4K not) my first hypothesis/guess is that you're running out of graphics memory. That's a very uninformed guess on my behalf.

That same thing happened to me the other day but in Red Alert.
I had to reset the software and delete the RSX created by it.
I think its a bug worth reporting somewhere.

I can't get a view screen at all on my machine that has the Quadro FX1400. One with a 1500 isn't much better but my laptop with Quadro FX3600 is perfect, so your guess is probably right.

Could it be my video card? Its only got 128 megs of ram, the RedCine workspace turns blue when I hit render

Sounds like it. 128mb is definitely not enough, and RedCine uses the GPU on your graphics card for rendering. Time to upgrade...

Don't know, I still guess that you're out of video RAM. I have a Quadro 3700 on one of my systems with 512MB and it works great. I do most of my REDCINE work on it and can recommend it comfortably. I got it new for about $800. Some of the other systems I use have higher end cards which don't seem to perform any better in REDCINE (of course CPU's are different as well so it's not a truly valid statement).

I see you're running on XP 64 so you don't have to worry about the graphics RAM taking away from you're addressable system RAM. BTW, is REDCINE supported on Win XP 64? Could that have something to do with it?

Other than for lets say the SDI out on the 5600SDI and 4600SDI's Is there any benefit to the Quadro cards with Redcine? I still need them for my other apps but it would be good info to know.
