We have MAC software program that allows LUTs (in the form of ICC profiles) to be burnt into RED QuickTime based footage.

This software was developed for Alexa originally, but actually works with ANY QuickTime capable footage, so can be used in a number of situations.

This is ideal for On-Set viewing of footage using user defined LUTs, etc, or for offline editorial via Avid MC or FCP.

If you have questions, feel free to ask.

Steve makes great Gamma Curves. I bought the Gamma Curves for my PDW-F800 and also for my Canon 5d/ 7d.
They are a DEFINATE requirement if you are thinking of shooting on CANON cameras. My footage and quality of work has improved out of site.

Steve if you can make anything to improve a RED MX camera by utilising your Gamma curves that would be fantastic.

Believe me the difference in using his gamma curves is like REDCOLOUR VS REDCOLOUR 2.

Steve use REDCINE-X with a RED ROCKET card and I perform a "Best light" grade using that package. Then I finish on an AVID SYMPHONY DX at 1:1 10bit.

If you have a way of increasing the dynamic range like you have for my PDW-F800 for the RED especially in low light that would be fantastic. I personally love how your Mega Gamma curves save me time in lighting by holding the highlights and the detail in the highlights. With the standard ITU-709 they would be totally lost.

Good work
