  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

this is the first time I'm using build 20 firmware and RA, but I shot a few shot today, opened them in RA and then made quicktimes. The quicktimes are a super saturated blue and look nothing the grade I made in RA. the quicktimes the camera generated though, on clips that I have not graded, look ok. but as soon as I make any single change in RA, they immediately turn very blue.

Anyone have any advise?

THANKS!

White Balance?

White Balance?

Maybe this has to do with the so called re-white balancing...? Have no idea, just repeating what I have read from other posts...:crying:

Thanks luis. Whats the deal with this "re-white balancing"?

Brandon,

Since I cannot call myself an expert on this as of now, browse around on http://www.reduser.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=29 since there is much chatter about the very same issue you are experiencing. I wish I can be of more assistance, but I am not the best to answer this one...

At this time it is to be expected that the colors displayed by QuickTime reference files won't match to Build 20 RA!

- there needs to be an update to the RED QuickTime Codec first.

So two options. Use a previous build of RA! or render out standalone QuickTime movies via RA!
