How do they compare, please? And are the results more spectacular with RedALERT? Can we use both?

Also, how do I find somebody experienced with RedALERT and are the rates the same as for Final Cut Pro?

Thanks a lot!

I don't believe it is currently possible to color grade native 4K R3D Raw files in FCS Color.

Red Alert is a simple, single file RAW converter. Apple Color is a color grading program. You can't compare the two.

So I have to rephrase it: what do I do post FCP editing? What do I use to correct and color grade and how do I finish in FCP? Thanks a lot for your your kind guidance!

Just generate the EDL and the color grading facility should take it from there. You should get back graded finished project delivered to you in your chosen codec, tape, rendered DPX files, DCI files, etc.

Hi Lidia,

You should use "Clipfinder".
A superb application that will allow you to work within FCP and REDAlert.
Very easy to learn and it works FAST.
